Steps for installing / managing
How to install :
- download IZI Viewer and unzip it onto your hard drive
- open the config.php file to set up options (don't forget to change administrator password)
- send the unzipped folder onto your webhoster allocated space (PHP support mandatory)
- Izi Viewer path onto your hard drive contains folder named "content"; this folder will store your photo galleries
- then create your own categories (one category one folder)
- on these folders, create your albums ( one album on one subfolder)
- finally, you can store all your pictures on the several categories you previously created
- access your website from any webbrowser, your categories/albums might be seen on the left-sided panel
- minimized pictures will be created once you first load the album
Administration
- Click the "administration" link on the left-sided panel and type in your logging information
- note that the screen you access from administration is similar to the one accessed as a user
- Welcome page content can immediately be changed by clicking on it (HTML code)
- Clicking on the "+" sign while browsing your album enables you to add or modify any typed text
- licking an image while displayed enables you to add or modify the title associated to this image
- You can also resize all minimized pictures listed on your album
