IZI viewer is a photo gallery written in PHP code, "one more !", you may think ... and you are right.
But I aimed to write this piece of software because I couldn't find one that might suit my needs. I mean I could pick one from :
- "enormous" galleries like Gallery or PhpWebGallery; both of them gather full management options and are based onto a MySQL database, but are very hard to get up-to-date indeed; they alse offers too many unuseful fonctions
- some other are very pleasant and lightweight, like SimpleViewer (flash programming method), et very small and userfriendy interface, but don't enable several albums managing. Moreover, they are not very intuitive to manage : you have to modify the .xml file for configuration.
That's why I only wish to find a simple photo gallery software, enabling multi-albums management, quick and easy to install and update, with user-friendly forms, as an end-user or gallery administrator.
Able to be set from several skins (a few are available by now, but I hope you'll upload your owns).
